Evergreen Lake House Confirmed

Big Chili to be at the Lake House

January 12, 2005 The Evergreen Rec Center has confirmed that the Big Chili Cook-Off Music and Arts Festival will again be held in the Lake House in 2005!

Parking for the event will be at several locations including Evergreen High School located at 29300 Buffalo Park Road and several other nearby parking lots.  A shuttle service will take attendees to and from the Big Chili Cook-Off every 15 minutes.

Directions to Big Chili Cook-Off Music and Arts Festival Parking

Shuttle Service to be provided every 15 minutes (11:30am to 6:30pm).
There will be no parking at the Evergreen Lake House, but you may make drop offs.

Evergreen High School:

Traveling West on I-70
Take Exit 252 (Evergreen Pkwy/El Rancho Exit)
You are now on Hwy. 74
Stay on 74 past several houses, businesses & open space areas for 10 miles.
After you pass Evergreen Lake, turn RIGHT onto Hwy 73.  Continue 0.56 miles, turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto BUFFALO PARK Road (CO-89), continue past high school, take first left into parking lot and look for shuttle parking.

Take the Morrison Exit on to Hwy. 74
Follow Hwy. 74 through Morrison and 11 miles through the canyon until you get to the light at the intersection of Hwy. 74 and 73 on main street in Evergreen.
Take a LEFT at the light onto Hwy-73.  Continue 0.56 miles, turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto BUFFALO PARK Road (CO-89), continue past high school, take first left into parking lot and look for shuttle parking.

Traveling West on I-70
Take Exit 252 (Evergreen Pkwy/El Rancho Exit)
You are now on Hwy. 74
Stay on 74 past several houses, businesses & open space areas for 8 miles.
Look for shuttle parking.

Take the Morrison Exit on to Hwy. 74
Follow Hwy. 74 through Morrison and 11 miles through the canyon until you get to the light at the intersection of Hwy. 74 and 73 on main street in Evergreen.
Take a RIGHT at the light onto Hwy-74.  Continue and look for shuttle parking.

Traveling West on I-70
Take Exit 252 (Evergreen Pkwy/El Rancho Exit)
You are now on Hwy. 74
Stay on 74 past several houses, businesses & open space areas for 9.6 miles approximately 1/4 mile after highway narrows into two lanes, turn RIGHT onto UPPER BEAR CREEK RD. The next LEFT is the entrance road in to the Lake House parking lot.

Take the Morrison Exit on to Hwy. 74
Follow Hwy. 74 through Morrison and 11 miles through the canyon until you get to the light at the intersection of Hwy. 74 and 73 on main street in Evergreen.
Go straight through light and take the first left on to Upper Bear Creek Road (the lake is on your left) Then the next left is the entrance road in to the Lake House parking lot.
