Big Chili Cook-Off 2010 - in Evergreen Colorado

The Big Chili Cook-Off is primed for another great event in 2010. This will be the ninth year for our event. Save the date (Sunday September 12th) and plan to attend this annual music, art and chili extravaganza!

Welcome Chili Fans!

Parking is very important to the continued growth and success of the Big Chili Cook-Off Music and Arts Festival.

No parking at the Evergreen Lake House or Lake Point Center

Please note that access to Upper Creek Road will be restricted. We encourage you to use the designated spaces at Evergreen High School, Evergreen Rec Center, Hiwan Homestead, Elks Lodge or the Evergreen Rodeo grounds. There will be signs directing you to the lots. The shuttle will pick you up at any of these lots which are located every direction from the Lake House. We will have attendants at the Rodeo Grounds to assist you.

Drop off policy: For those who want to drop someone off and then park at the shuttle lots, we ask that this practice be limited to parties that include people with special needs or disabilities. Due to traffic concerns on Upper Bear Creek Road, we ask that able-bodied groups proceed directly to the shuttle lots. THERE IS NO EVENT PARKING AT THE LAKEPOINT CENTER, NOR AT THE LAKEHOUSE ITSELF. In addition, there will be a bus with a wheelchair lift that picks up at the Evergreen High School shuttle lot.

Parking lots Big Chili Cook-Off parking is available at Evergreen High School, Hiwan Homestead Park/Lutheran Church of the Cross, Evergreen Elks Lodge and the Rodeo Grounds. Shuttle service will be provided every 15 minutes from 11:00am until 6:30pm, and signs will be posted for those preferring to walk. There will be no parking at the Evergreen Lake House. No traffic will be allowed into the park during this event.

Evergreen High School & Rec. Center	S. on Hwy 74 from Bergen Park, to downtown Evergreen. Right @ light on Hwy 73. Right @ next light (Buffalo Park Rd). About 1/3 mile on left.	Light @ downtown Evergreen, go left on Hwy 73. Right @ next light (Buffalo Park Rd.). About 1/3 mile on left.
Elks Lodge & Hiwan Homestead	S. on Hwy 74 from Bergen Park. Pass Safeway on right, then go left on Douglas Park Rd (across from Christ The King Church) before Lake. Douglas Park curves to & becomes Meadow Drive. Hiwan Homestead on left (adjacent Church lot OK also). Second left after this lot, may turn left on Iris Dr to Elks.	Just east of downtown Evergreen, turn right on Meadow Dr (at 7Eleven). First right (Iris Dr) takes you to Elks Lodge Parking. Continuing straight on Meadow Dr takes you to Hiwan Homestead parking on right.
